To bring the beauty of our little slice of the Adirondacks into the Village Hall, the staff has made four walls available to feature the work of local artists. Artists and their artwork will be on a quarterly rotation that corresponds with the upcoming season. The rotation will go as follows: Winter pieces displayed starting November 1st, Spring pieces displayed starting February 1st, Summer pieces displayed starting May 1st, and Fall pieces displayed starting August 1st. The display for the winter quarter includes a stunning photograph by Dave Nelson of the breathtaking starry Adirondack night sky printed on metal for a unique effect; Judy Nelson’s oil painting of a quiet Adirondack stream set in the woods with high peaks towering in the background and finished with a beautiful gold frame, and Beth’s Brushes, by Beth Knapp, displays three fun, bright paintings that will bring a smile to anyone who views these canvas paintings with the cheerful colors and scenes. If you are interested in viewing these pieces of art, please feel free to stop in at the Village Hall Monday – Friday between 8 am and 2 pm.
